The piece was inspired by my observations of the contemporary world and human nature. The spiritual journeys of self-improvement junkies, escapists - the fragile and emotional beings that we are. On a mission to heal, I use charcoal face masks and pore nose strips as a metaphor for this desire to be pure, free of past traumas and pain. Detox of a soul.
